Story of origin of this blog.

Hi Everyone,
A very warm welcome to my first ever blog. I, being a creative bug, have always my feet up to reach a place where the creativity is present in any form. Be it a Play, Movie, Live concerts, TV shows or any form of performing arts. So, being a witness to every such event, I have a habit of discussing, giving my views, doing analysis of performances with family, friends, colleagues & people around.
So like every time, after watching the so called 2010's biggest blockbuster 'Dabangg', me & my colleagues were having a discussion over the film & its performance at the box office. Half of them were saying that - "The film is as good as its performance at the box office". While others opined that though it did well at the box office but as a 'Creative work' it lacks quality in few areas to be called a 'Good film'.
While this argument was going on, I observed that some of them were talking as a general audience who just expect the 3 hrs entertainment from a movie .Where as the others were talking as an audience who along with the entertainment, look for a reason behind anything shown to them. After hearing them for some time, I brought the third angle to the whole discussion from the eyes of the person who is a well wisher of both the audience & the film-makers.
I talked as a mediator who understands the viewpoint of film-makers & can convey it to the audience to help them evaluating a film better and vice-versa. Well, I don't go personally to film-makers and have a discussion with them. But I meant that viewer's reaction reaches broadly to the film-makers automatically through Film-Analysts, Critics & other sources in the industry. But to convey the film-maker's viewpoint & approach to the particular film to the audiences, I don't think the TV shows, Interviews and News segments are good enough because they have less believability. In fact they are taken as more of a promotional demonstration than an exchange of ideas (viewpoints).
After hearing all my explication (thanks to the patience of my colleagues) everyone waited for 2 second then
together they said - " you sound diplomatic". Fortunately one guy understood my point & said - "No.... He has
a point". That was a breather for me. I must thank my friend Tarang for saving my thought!! It was his idea then, that I should write whatever I speak ...Let the discussion become more extensive. And I felt some positive vibes in that.
So here I'm…writing my blog. I hope I'll do justice to my abilities & to all my readers.
So guys be ready to read my first review in which I'll talk about a Marathi play "Aavghya Rang Ekchi Zhala" watched recently. An extra-ordinary work in theatre, which along with maintaining the traditional way of presenting Marathi theatre keeps the essence of today’s era.
Till then keep observing...keep witnessing... keep realizing... keep telling and keep coming!!
